Great River Health Systems Transitional LPN | 12 hours per week | Medical Surgical Unit in West Burlington, Iowa

Minimum Hiring Wage:

From $22.86 per hour

Job Details:

Scheduled Hours: 7:00pm - 7:30am, every other weekend

This position is designed for nursing students in their ADN year. This position will allow a nursing student to work as an LPN alongside an RN and gain experience and knowledge while completing RN program. Position is temporary; and would end upon graduation of ADN year.

Job Description:

Delivers care to patients and assists the Registered Nurse in monitoring, observing and reporting reactions to treatments. Participates in the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Adolescents.


Must currently be in ADN year of nursing program

Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa required
