Scheduled: Nights, 10 hour weekends

Job Description:

The position is fully benefits eligible.

Primary CT but this position will also help in General X-Ray.

Operate stationary and/or mobile C.T. equipment, C.T. fluoroscopy, including power injectors, where needed to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes. Produce quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders. Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, C.T. imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, and basic computer skills, as well as PACS knowledge. Competent in all CT procedures, protocols and techniques. Operates equipment and provides patient care and safety for all populations. Take x-rays and Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT or CT) scans or administer nonradioactive materials into patient's blood stream for diagnostic purposes. Includes technologists who specialize in other modalities, such as computed tomography, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Prefer formal C.T. training

Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration

Iowa Permit to Practice – Radiography (or eligible)

ARRT Registered in x-ray and CT registry eligible
