Job Description
Plan, organize, and conduct athletic training programs in hospital, outpatient clinic, institutional, or community settings to rehabilitate athletes impaired because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental problems.
Assess and evaluate athletes physical and mental abilities, review available medical record, and analyze medical data to determine realistic athletic training goals for athletes.
Select activities that will help athletes’ skill, agility, function & readiness to play, and life-management skills within limits of their mental and physical capabilities.
Evaluate athletes progress and prepare reports that detail progress.
Qualifications:
Required:
Masters degree in Athletic Training
Prefer:
Prefer 1 to 2 years experience.
