PRAIRIE LAKES AEA Behavior Technician in Webster City, Iowa
QUALIFICATION
- EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or another related field
- LICENSURE: BOEE license preferred
- EXPERIENCE:Ability to relate to student population being served
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with screenings and assessments of students without interpretation
- Assist with data collection and documentation as directed
- Model documented treatment plans developed by the Behavior Team
- Plan activities that lead to student success on goals
- Assist with clerical duties and department operations such as preparing materials and scheduling activities
- Collect data for monitoring quality improvement
- Participate in professional development activities
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to student record and information
- Additional duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel between schools and sites served
- Normal, routine levels of activity related to bending, carrying, climbing, hearing, lifting, reaching, sitting, standing, vision and walking, and may also involve above-average levels of activity at times that cant always be anticipated
