Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-Iowa Ultrasound Technologist- 2nd Shift ($10,000 Sign On Bonus!) in Waterloo, Iowa
Sign on bonus/relocation assistance/housing stipend/education repayment options! Performs ultrasound exams including general, ob/gyn, and vascular sonography for patients as ordered by the physician. Provides diagnostic exams and communications for radiologist's interpretation. Adheres to MercyOne Northeast Iowa's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne Northeast Iowa. High school diploma plus specialized training. Education sufficient to obtain ARDMS and RVT-eligible status. 0-2 years radiology experience in addition to ultrasound experience preferred. Certified by ARDMS and RVT, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) - VS (Vascular Sonography), or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) - Registered Vascular Specialist. ARRT certification in Radiography preferred. BLS. Mandatory Reporter. * High language, high math, high reasoning ability. * Personal computer. * Ability to work independently with speed and accuracy. * Ability to work with diverse groups of people. * Ability to use independent judgment to solve problems.
