Performs diagnostic and therapeutic medical services. Works to ensure patient satisfaction and positive relationships with physicians and staff to help support the delivery of quality patient care. This position will share in department call. Adheres to MercyOne Northeast Iowa's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne Northeast Iowa. Graduate of an AMA approved Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program. Previous healthcare experience preferred. Current Iowa license. Possesses federal and state Controlled Substance prescribing authority. High language, high math, high reasoning ability. Personal computer. Ability to work with diverse groups of people. Ability to work under pressure and with a large degree of independence. Ability to prioritize multiple and simultaneous tasks. Ability to communicate verbally with patients, physicians, and staff.
