    About The Job:

    Escort's patients to exam room. Obtains and documents subjective data (chief complaint, pain level and allergies). Obtains and documents objective data (vital signs, height, and weight and pain level, BMI, O2 sats). Anticipates and prepares exam room with equipment and supplies required for the visit. Assists with exams/procedures as requested. Obtains and reviews basic health history information and immunization status.

    CNA performs routine and general nurse aide functions in the clinic.

    CMA provides support in the medical field by performing various medical and clerical activities to ensure quality care and efficient work place.

    The Shift:

    Days: Monday-Friday with rotating Saturday mornings.

    The Pay:

    CNA- Wage starts at $15.15 and increases dependent on experience.

    CMA- Wage starts at $16.80 and increases dependent on experience.

    What We Need from You:

CNA-

Education:

High school graduate or GED, preferred.

Completion of Certified Nurse Aide course. Must be active on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry.

BLS/CPR for Health Care Provider Certification.

Experience:

Previous nurse aide experience preferred.

Special Skills & Aptitudes:

Ability to perform detailed assignments, follow direction, understand work has interruptions, and relates to patients, hospital staff, and visitors.

Ability to recognize personal training needs and follow through to gain new competencies.

Ability to perform CPR.

Must have basic computer skills.

CMA

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Graduate of an approved school for medical assistants.

Certification as a medical assistant is required. (CMA, RMA, NCMA)

Experience:

A minimum of six months work experience in a health care facility performing duties relating to patient care is preferred.

Additional experience involving computerized data equipment is preferred.
