Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Manager Clinical Services

As a Manager Clinical Services at MercyOne, you will provide leadership to assigned patient care area ensuring the quality of care and optimizing operational effectiveness. The clinical manager is accountable for his/her nursing practice and supervising the colleagues and is an advocate for patient/families and nursing. The clinical manager shows evidence of system thinking, initiates improvement strategies, promotes employee development and works collaboratively and has 24-hour accountability for the provision of care.

Schedule:

  • Full Time 40hrs a week, Day Shift

General Requirements:

  • Requires an RN license in the State of Iowa, or state of residence if the candidate resides in a compact state.

  • Requires a minimum of three to five years relevant work experience. A minimum of one to two years of management/supervisory experience preferred.

  • National Certification in specialty required within 1 years of accepting the position.

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, advanced analytical skills, be well organized and maintain a highly professional manner and appearance.

  • Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnership with all levels of leadership across the organization. Ability to effectively influence results, garner support and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization. Extremely high level of diplomacy and tact are required. Ability to read the subtle nuances of situation and react/plan accordingly.

  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Education:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in nursing or a master’s degree in nursing or related field.
