Description:
MercyOne Siouxland has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. This highly skilled surgeon utilizes the latest technology and surgical techniques to treat even the most complex cases. The team currently performs surgery to treat conditions of the heart, vascular system, lungs and chest, including the following:
Coronary bypass surgery
Coronary artery disease
Peripheral vascular disease
Lung cancer
TAVR
This position is supported by a full-time advanced practice provider to assist with clinic and postoperative care management. The cardiovascular program is also supported by an experienced OR team consisting of a first assistant to harvest vein, two full-time perfusionists, TEE certified cardiac anesthesiologists. In addition to patient care support, the program works in conjunction with our Heart & Vascular team which consists of three full-time interventional cardiologists, two general cardiologists, two electrophysiologists, and five APP's.
This is a great opportunity for a surgeon looking to grow an already established program.
