- Conducts weekly classroom guidance activities based on the guidance curriculum and individual classroom needs.

``` 2. Conducts regularly scheduled small group counseling sessions based on students needs.

``` 3. Assists students with needs by conducting individual counseling sessions.

``` 4. Holds conferences with teachers, principals, parents and other support staff to clarify student needs and to develop an action plan.

``` 5. Initiates contact with teacher before, during, and after counseling sessions to monitor student progress.

``` 6. Provides assistance to parents that may enhance their childs readiness for and participation in the learning process at all levels within the system.
