Strong attention to detail, self-starter who takes pride in work.

This position is 75% chart prep 25% Clinical Support


Monday and Wednesday 8:00AM-5:00PM Friday 8:00AM-12:00PM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS A. Registers, verifies, and updates patient demographics in computer/records. B. Pulls and prepares patients records for appointments, prints encounter forms. C. Create new patient charts. D. Schedules appointments for primary customer group. E. Demonstrates proficiency in filing all documentation, reports, and correspondence in medical records. G Obtains and releases medical records/forms as requested. H. Retrieve and photocopy medical records as requested. I. Maintain patient and organizational confidentiality.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS A. Education: 1. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Knowledge of medical terminology required or the completion of a medical terminology course in the first year of employment. B. Experience: 1. Six months of office experience, preferably in ambulatory setting such as a medical office. 2. Typing/Computer experience is preferred. C. Special Skills and Aptitudes: 1. The ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of people is required. 2. Detail oriented, ability to multi task and able to organize work with frequent interruptions. 3. The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. 4. Ability to work with people in a courteous manner
