MercyOne is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician to join in its expansion into the Newton, Iowa market. Enjoy a low cost of living and a great quality of life in proximity to Iowa’s Capitol city.

Opportunity Details

  • Traditional Internal Medicine clinical services (Inpatient/ Outpatient)

  • Instant volume and only IM Physician in the community due to Physician retirement

  • Daily inpatient census of 10 patients and anticipated clinic daily volume of 15-20 patients

  • Outpatient call only – system covers night inpatient coverage

  • Inpatient procedures: Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, wound/abscess drainage, Steroid injections, central line placement

  • Skilled and Hospice patient admissions (H&P)

  • 22% of the population is age 60 and older

We Offer

  • A base salary of $300,908 plus production and non-production incentives

  • $15,000 relocation allowance

  • 31 days of annual time off
