PRAIRIE RIDGE INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE First Episode Psychosis Therapist and Team Lead in Mason City, Iowa
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide supervision to all FEP clinical programming.
- Recognize and monitor standards of care for treating behavioral health patients.
- Evaluate staff performance, including direct observation, and collaborate with other supervisors on performance evaluations.
- Confer with staff regarding patient progress and treatment strategy.
- Monitor documentation/file management.
- Review sign assessments and treatment plans as required.
- Monitor and fulfill agency service contracts, including but not limited to participating in required FEP training and meetings and completing reports as required by oversight bodies.
- Assist with developing appropriate curriculum and therapy strategies as needed.
- Provide clinical services for FEP patients.
- Community outreach and presentations to the service area that FEP covers.
- Gather and organize all required data for the FEP team's quarterly reports and submit them on time.
- Participate in the hiring process of new FEP applicants.
- Assist the program in developing policies and procedures relating to the assessment and treatment of program participants.
- Maintain all confidentiality requirements and regulations and interpret for staff.
- Participate in CQI programming
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the Department of Human Services, licensure, Cerner, and CARF standards.
- Responsible for modeling principles of Mission, Vision, and Values to the agency.
- Implement and monitor FIT and LEAN processes.
- Should be capable of filling in for other positions on the FEP team when required.
- Travel is required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and useful skills:
- Masters in social work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
- CADC or equivalent.
- Training/Experience in the field of substance use disorders.
- Understanding of the mission of Prairie Ridge and the clients we work with.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills and record keeping.
- Ability to deal directly with clients and provide accurate verbal and written reports to clinical staff.
