The nursing assistant provides patient care and other duties as assigned by the staff under the supervision of a registered nurse. This care focuses on but is not limited to assisting the staff and getting the patient ready for surgery or procedures and/or discharge, transporting the patient, clerical work, and other department responsibilities as asked or assigned. Hours are related to the need of the department and their business hours, no weekends, or holidays. This position would not be eligible for floating to other departments.
