We are seeking a Floating Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.

This full-time position will travel to our 7 sites in the state as a floating pharmacist. You will work 40 hours a week between Monday and Friday from 8:00-5:00. Our sites are located in Davenport, Marshalltown, Mason City, Fort Dodge, Ottumwa, and Sioux City (2).

You would receive the following:

  • .65 cents/mile

  • Up to a 10% RRP Bonus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners

  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use

  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service

  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy

  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy

  • Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD?

  • Current pharmacist license in state of Iowa

  • Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire

  • Certified CPR

  • LAI Administration or willing to obtain

  • Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance

  • Ability to travel the state of Iowa Monday - Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mental or Behavioral health experience
