FleishmanHillard, a global integrated communications agency is looking for a Research Analyst/Research Manager to join ourTRUE Global Intelligence (TGI)team in ideally New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, or remote . Our TRUE Global Intelligence practice integrates primary and secondary research methods with communications measurement and data analytics. This position will support a variety of research and analytics projects, with a specific focus on primary quantitative research methods. This is a great opportunity for an experienced primary researcher who is interested in sharpening their skills, while expanding to a wider range of research methods.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as project manager for integrated research and analytics assignments, including primary quantitative surveys, qualitative IDIs, secondary and syndicated research, consumer and cultural trend identification, and digital media content and social analytics.

  • Assist in study design, proposal development, and vendor management.

  • Directly partner with clients and senior team members to develop scopes, create workback plans, manage junior staff, and deliver results to senior-level client stakeholders.

  • Own aspects of project timelines and requirements, and communicate accordingly with clients, vendors, agency colleagues, and the research and analytics team.

  • Collaborate and manage a wider team of contributors and colleagues from across the network in different offices and geographic locations.

  • Manage multiple projects, team members, and timelines simultaneously.

  • Develop, evaluate, and synthesize insights to provide strategic recommendations based on research and analytics findings.

  • Eagerness to learn new tools and develop insights across multiple sources and platforms

  • Curate best practices, lessons learned from portfolio projects; collaborate with peers to recommend improvements to quality standards established for the practice.

  • Training analysts and other colleagues on processes and tools

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience across a broad range of primary research methodologies; previous experience in a client-service capacity is preferred.

  • Proven analytical and deductive reasoning skills; able to translate findings into meaningful insights.

  • Strong project management skills; capable of setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing projects.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels using both technical and non-technical verbiage. Confident at presenting findings to a diverse audience.

  • Multitasker, self-starter, proactive, problem solver; ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment both in-person and virtually.

  • Possess a sense of curiosity and interest in current events, trends and culture; maintain a growth mindset.

  • Strong skills in MS Office (i.e., Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Experience with SPSS and survey programming platforms (e.g., Decipher, Toluna) is preferred.

  • Experience with digital scraping tools (e.g., Crimson Hexagon, Netbase, Quid, TalkWalker, etc.) is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
