Description
As the Respiratory Therapy Manager, you’ll lead the creation, compliance, and annual review of respiratory care policies, practices, and processes.
What You'll Do
Supervise the team through effective hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Ensure development of staff to achieve high results. Promote engagement and satisfaction to drive retention.
Partner with leadership team regarding admissions, care, and discharges.
Ensure clinical care is implemented according to evidence-based best practices as defined by ChildServe policy and practice manuals, including but not limited to infection control and safety.
Implement and monitor service-specific quality improvement activities and initiatives.
Ensure adequate staffing in alignment with care expectations.
Develop service-specific operating goals and lead implementation of initiatives.
Assist with development of program budget and ensure appropriate spending.
What You'll Need
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Iowa Respiratory Therapy License.
Five years of respiratory therapy experience in in pediatrics, rehabilitation and/or with children with complex medical conditions. PICU and NICU experience required.
Two years of supervisory experience.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
