Our client, a leader in the research and development sector, is seeking a Lab Technician specializing in INSECTS to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of a dynamic research team supporting innovative projects. Job Title: Lab Technician - INSECTS

Location: Johnston, IA

Pay Range: $20-$22/hour

What's the Job?

• Perform insect midgut dissection and collection in support of research and development.

• Identify and suggest improvements in methods and plans for projects of limited duration and scope.

• Troubleshoot when erroneous or unexpected results occur.

• Examine live roots and larvae in plants.

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• No extensive laboratory experience required.

• Ability to perform manual tasks as part of the job requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and methods.
