As the Front Pharmacy Technician on the divvyDOSE Welcome Call Team , you will be expected to shadow experienced team members to exemplify the expectations of a fully proficient Technician. You will positively contribute to overall team motivation and enhance team engagement. In accordance with state regulations, you will interpret provider prescriptions and create orders, as well as assess, input, and retrieve prescription, medical/lab, and reimbursement information from the computer system.

Schedule: Between the hours of 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the department need, to work Saturdays and holidays.
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer onboarding via incoming and outgoing phone calls.Volume may range up to an estimate of 40 calls per day
Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned
Asking appropriate questions and demonstrate active listening to identify specific questions or issues, build rapport, respond with compassion while documenting required information in computer systems
Assisting the Pharmacist by performing Certified Technician-approved duties related to prescription requests, which include but are not limited to data entry, billing, and the submission of customer orders for fulfillment. Additionally, supporting operations and contributing to process improvements
Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content
Creation/routing of pharmacy orders through receipt
Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient calls
Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system
May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details
Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities
Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function
Acts as a technical resource to others in own function
Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests while addressing moderately complex problems independently
Works with team to solve complex problems
Plans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectives
Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction
Extensive work experience within own function and be able to work independently
May coordinate other activities

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Current Certified Pharmacy Technician license OR National Certification without restrictions based on regulatory requirements of worksite (PCTB and/or NHA)
Currently resides within Illinois or Iowa
