Temporary: A staff member may serve in temporary status in a continuous appointment for no more than one year to meet an emergency or temporary need of the University. Employees in this classification will not be eligible for University Benefits.

Position Summary: The Department of Rehabilitation Therapies at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is seeking senior physical therapists for PRN work. The selected candidates must be capable of caring for acute impatients and/or outpatients with a variety of complex medical conditions. Weekday and weekend hours are available.

Education Required

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in another field and a Physical Therapy Certificate is required

Experience Requirements

  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills

Certifications

  • Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners is required

Desirable Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in physical therapy
