**$5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates. Paid over 12 months.

Do you love working in a busy family medicine clinic? If so, Huxley Family Medicine is the place for you!! At Huxley Family Medicine, you will experience community, team-based care and taking care of patients of all ages. Working in Family Medicine allows you to get to know your patients, thus building trust and strong relationships.
Your day to day duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Prepare patients for their provider visit: rooming, vitals, obtaining history and updating medication list.
Administer routine vaccines.
Set-up, assist and tear-down for in-office procedures.
Draw and collect blood and other samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
Administer ordered medications via IM, SQ and Oral routes.
Care Coordination for testing and referrals.
Call processing of incoming and outgoing patient communications with timely documentation in Epic.
Patient education at time of discharge using the After Visit Summary.
Education:
• Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants or equivalent work experience if NHA* certified. CMA w/Limited Rad Preferred.
• High school diploma required if work is performed in a moderately complex CLIA lab.
License(s)/Certification(s):
• Current CMA certification through AAMA, NCCT, RMA or NHA*. CMA w/Limited Rad Preferred.
• BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
