Summary:
Under the direction of the Administrator / Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor:• Follows safe and efficient cleaning procedures to ensure all areas of the care center are maintained according to regulatory and infection control standards• Safely and appropriately prepares, uses, stores, labels, and disposes of commercial cleaning products / chemicals and supplies• Utilizes and maintains all commercial cleaning equipment properly and safely, following the operating manual instructions per manufacturer guidelines• Interacts with team members, residents / tenants in a positive manner, accommodating daily schedules as possible• Performs other work-related duties as assigned by the Administrator / Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent, with experience working in a healthcare setting preferred• Must have knowledge and understanding of healthcare standards related to cleanliness, sanitation, disinfecting, and infection control• Must be self-motivated, possessing organization and time-management skills in order to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment• Must have good oral and written communication skills specific to the English language*COVID-19 vaccination required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable
