Job Details:

Scheduled Hours: Day shift, 9 hour shifts.

Job Description:

$15,000 sign on bonus for eligible candidates

Echo: Coordinate and participate in a variety of duties involved in the operation of echocardiography equipment to obtain and record two-dimensional and M-mode graphic representations of the heart utilizing high frequency sound waves to assist physician in the diagnosis of cardiac malfunctions, malformations and abnormalities. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining EXCEL values. Demonstrates a high level of knowledge and practice utilizing critical thinking skills in performing test on the following patient populations: Cardiac/Acute Myocardial Infarction.

CT: Prepare patients for examination, position patient based on physician’s order, and operate Computed Tomography (CT) equipment and accessories. Produce quality images as directed by physicians and radiologists for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders. Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, CT imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, basic computer skills, and PACS. Competency in CT procedures, protocols, and techniques. Provides patient care and safety for all patient populations.

Qualifications:

Required: Iowa Permit to Practice, ARRT Registered, Must be registered through ARDMS Registry within 24 months of hire.
