Minimum Starting Wage:

CMA - $20.78

LPN - $25.14

RN - $29.58

Sign on Bonus for Eligible Candidates:

CMA - $3,000

LPN - $3,000

RN - $5,000

Job Description:

This position would float between the outpatient clinics at our Fort Madison location.

CMA: Assists the medical provider in the care and treatment of patients. Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination and office based procedures, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician/ physician assistant.

LPN: Assess patient health problems and needs and maintain medical records. May work under the supervision of a registered nurse. Assists the medical provider in the care and treatment of patients. May assist physician or physician assistant with patients at Great River Health System.

RN: Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Qualifications:

Required:

CMA- Certified Medical Assistant through approved accrediting board.

May be licensed by the State of Iowa as a Registered Care Practitioner (RRT or CRT) if not a Medical Assistant.

LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa

RN- Current license as a registered nurse from the State of Iowa

Preferred: Healthcare experience within the last 5 years.
