UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Fort Dodge and surrounding communities. As a designated regional referral center Trinity Regional Medical Center offers a wide range of primary and secondary care services. Trinity is accredited by DNV Healthcare Inc. and has achieved Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Established Occupational Medicine practice serving Fort Dodge and the surrounding communities
Full-time benefit eligible opportunity
Experienced staff who know the clients extremely well
Average of 15 patients per day; no weekends, no call
Department hours: Mon-Thurs 8a-5p and Fri 8a-4:30p
Occasional need for early morning or evening coverage at company location
Perform pre-employment exams, DOT physicals, care for work related injuries, etc.
Onsite services: radiology, hearing tests, fit testing, etc.
Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
Occupational Medicine experience preferred but not required
Must become DOT certified within 3 months of employment
Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
