Avera Holy Family Hospital is looking for a Radiology Technologist (ARRT) to join our Team!

Position Highlights:

  • Coordinates and performs a variety of diagnostic procedures in general radiology.

Job Summary

  • The Radiology Technologist is responsible for operating radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic images as directed by physicians and performing routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Radiology is required.

License/Certification/Registration

  • A.R.R.T. registration

  • IA permit to practice

  • BLS is required within six months of employment.

  • Completion of the Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.

  • Certification in one radiology modality. i.e. Mammo, CT, MRI is preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Varied Shifts; 72 hours 2 weeks

  • 8 or 9-hour days

  • Starting times vary depending on shift rotation and call schedule

  • Occasional weekend (Weekend call rotation - approximately 1 every 5)

  • Occasional holiday (Holiday call rotation - approximately 1 every 5)

  • Occasional call time (Call rotation - approximately 1 every 5)

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.

  • $25.00 - $37.75 per hour
