Job Summary
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for the first impression received by patients and visitors; obtaining all necessary personal, financial, and insurance data, and using proper interviewing techniques for registering information into the Meditech system. Must be able to effectively, courteously, and professionally deal with a variety of situations, diverse clientele, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with questions. Knowledge with the Meditech system required to register patients accurately, precisely, and compile needed reports.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.50 - $21.25 per hour
