Department Overview:

Adorama Used & Trade dept. has been buying and trading for many years. When customers are ready to upgrade their systems or trade them in for cash, they send their equipment to Adorama. From there, we evaluate the items and provide the customer with an honest and fair offer. If the customer accepts the offer, Adorama will send them a check or offer a credit towards future purchases.

The Adorama Used department purchases a variety of used photography equipment. We've purchased everything from film cameras to the latest full-frame digital and mirrorless cameras. Also, we purchase manual and autofocus lenses and an array of camera accessories. We also acquire an impressive amount of used video, audio, and lighting equipment as well as binoculars, scopes and computer equipment - nothing is too big or too small.

We are looking to hire an individual with a videography background and knowledge and experience with Video camcorders and accessories to catalog used equipment.

Experience & Skills:

Applicants must have experience in Data Entry and knowledge of camcorders, HD and consumer video, and knowledge of lighting and Audio equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify used equipment correctly through research and analyze condition for sale.

  • Research pricing, specifications and details for used items.

  • Process equipment purchases and enter items into a data entry system.

    Requirements:

    • Must have knowledge of video cameras and accessories, Audio and Lighting equipment

    • Knowledge of PC and Mac a plus

    • Attention to detail is a must.

    • Good reading, writing and comprehension skills.

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical features verbally and in writing.

  • Must be dependable, decisive, self-motivated, productive and able to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to follow directions

  • Technical Savvy
