WACKER BIOSOLUTIONS specializes in customized bio-technical solutions, high-quality fine chemicals and superior polyvinyl acetate solid resins for gum bases.
At our Eddyville site, we are currently looking for a QC Lab Technician to be a part of our growing team.
The QC Technician is an integral part of ensuring product quality and safety throughout the manufacturing operation. This role performs at line checks and monitoring and verifications to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards. This position will maintain and file records demonstrating compliance to food and pharmaceutical standards and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Perform in process checks at various stages of the production process to ensure product quality, in order to meet customer quality and regulatory expectations
Monitor cleaning and sanitation activities, check that chemical concentrations are correct, and verify cleaning is effective, through visual inspection or swabbing
Collect and file records related to FDA regulated production activities and store records properly after review to ensure they are retained and retrievable
Inspect raw materials and packaging upon receipt, and inspect labeling and packages daily before use
Assist in distribution and collection of supplier qualification documents and document management in IMS Document Library
Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices in FDA/USDA regulated environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to visually see color differences, small particles
Computer proficiency in MS applications
