Clarke University, located in scenic Dubuque, IA, invites applications for two full-time faculty positions (10 months) in Physical Therapy. One position is tenure-track, and the other is a three-year renewable appointment with the possibility of moving to tenure-track in the future. Ideal candidates should possess an earned terminal academic doctorate (Ph.D., EdD., DHS, DSc) or be actively enrolled in a doctoral program of study in Physical Therapy or a related field. Applicants must be eligible for PT licensure in Iowa. Responsibilities include teaching in one's area of academic or clinical expertise, advising, service on university committees, and scholarly production in alignment with standards outlined by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) . Administrative duties for those interested in serving as department chair include leadership in areas of accreditation, budget management, quality improvement, and student recruitment. The chair works collaboratively with the faculty on curriculum development and strategic planning and teaching in areas of academic or clinical expertise. Preference will be given to candidates qualified to teach in the areas of neuromuscular and/or cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Competitive salary and benefits.
