Oracle Senior Product Owner - Oracle Health Pharmacy Products in Des Moines, Iowa
Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. The Pharmacy Program Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Pharmacy/Meds Process Product Delivery team, which supports complex medication-process products, capabilities, and workflows with high patient safety and regulatory impacts.
This role is crucial for the development and management of both Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy products and Orders products. The responsibilities include collaborating with team team members to implement project plans, as well as overseeing the daily global operations, maintenance, and product updates for multiple multi-tenant customer domains within the organization.
Spearhead the global configuration and workflows of the Oracle Health Pharmacy products, aligning it with organizational standards, providing alignments across our multi-tenant customers, and providing education when needed.
Undertake ongoing maintenance and support of Pharmacy, solve technical issues, applying updates and modifications, and upholding data integrity and security.
Provide comprehensive education to Pharmacy departments and staff, conducting client calls when necessary, generating user documentation, and offering ongoing support to address inquiries and concerns.
Continuously evaluate identify areas for improvement through data analysis, user feedback, and collaboration with Oracle support and/or development teams.
Collaborate effectively with various collaborators, including customers, IP development teams, Consulting, Support teams and healthcare professionals, using superb communication skills for gathering requirements and coordinating system changes or updates.
Evaluate and approve/deny global Pharmacy changes that may impact multi-tenant customers.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of pharmacy workflows and stay updated on industry standards.
Apply Pharmacy experience to enhance system implementation and solve processes.
Oracle Health Pharmacy System Knowledge
Solid understanding of healthcare operations and Pharmacy workflows.
Hands-on experience with the Oracle Health Pharmacy products (formerly Cerner PharmNet).
Knowledge of system functionalities, configuration, and integration with healthcare systems.
Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, computer science, information systems, or related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in system implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
Experience in system integration, data analysis, solve, and software updates.
Familiarity with SQL databases and scripting languages is advantageous.
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues, optimize system performance through data analysis, and solve problems.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Nice to have Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Pharmacy Technician or equivalent experience
Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.

US: Hiring Range: from $56,500 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
