Responsibilities

  • Manages policy and procedure development, accreditation, retention efforts, and building and maintaining partnerships for clinical/learning experiences

  • Coordinates and supervises adjunct faculty and guest speakers.

  • Develops, updates and evaluates program and course curriculum and resources.

  • Hires, develops, trains and motivates faculty to ensure optimal performance. Provides regular feedback, including the annual performance evaluation.

  • Teaches, supervises and evaluates students’ academic, skill laboratory, clinical and field performance. Serves as liaison between students and clinical staff.

  • Identifies best practices for online andragogy and continually enhances student experience to maximize student engagement and learning.

  • Facilitates in-person bootcamps and manages space reservation, material needs, and adjunct participation.

  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, or related Minimum of one year teaching experience in postsecondary and/or vocational/technical.

  • Credentialed and in good standing, in Medical Assisting by an organization whose credentialing exam is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

  • Demonstrated knowledge of educational theory and techniques.

  • Demonstrated experience representing an organization to internal and external.

  • Demonstrated experience in relationship management with diverse.

  • Master’s degree preferred.
