Description:

• Enter the sample data into eLIMS system in a timely and accurate manner.

• Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in an accurate, efficient and timely manner; ensure sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded.

• Keeping work area clean, sanitized, and tidy

• Homogenizing and aseptically splitting sample into bags

• Enriching samples with media

• Incubating samples using LIMS system

• Checking samples into retain using storage management

• Identify non-conformances and out-of specifications samples

• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills:

Biology, Laboratory, Microbiology, aseptic technique, plating, sterile technique

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred that candidates have an AS or BA degree within Microbiology, food sciences, chemistry, Biology, biochemistry or a related field.

Open to candidates who have worked in a fast paced environment and are comfortable in a lab setting. Would need a HS diploma at minimum.
