Trinity Health Interventional Radiology Technologist PRN in DES MOINES, Iowa

Description:

Shift Hours: Standard day hours with call required

  • Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional procedures on scheduled shifts including emergency callback, operates angiographic equipment.

  • Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

  • Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problems.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.

  • Maintains active registry status in ARRT.

  • Maintains current Iowa Permit to Practice.

  • Two years’ experience preferred.

  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

  • Prefer Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified or obtained within six (6) months of hire. The acceptable credentialing body for this requirement is the American Heart Association
