Are you an experienced Manager of Sterile Processing looking for an exciting travel assignment? FirstChoice Leaders fill vital interim leadership roles across our nationwide healthcare system, providing support where it's needed most.

The Interim SPD Manager is accountable for the direct supervision and coordination of unit operations. Provides leadership and promotes team building amongst the staff. Facilitates communication amongst staff, management and other customers. Responsible for effective implementation of policies, procedures and standards. Performs duties in clinical capacity as needed. Supervisor will identify opportunities for standardization and cost containment/reduction. Responsible for identifying physician practice patterns, supply and equipment utilization and staff utilization. Monitors significant departmental trends that can shift/affect the business unit.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree strongly recommended and/or CS or management experience.

  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician required within 2 years of hire.

  • Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire.

Pay is $2800.00 Gross Weekly

Plus $1200.00 tax free stipend, If reside 60+ miles from facility.
