ABM is looking for a Certified Dietary Manager in Perry, IA.

We are seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to join our team and contribute to our commitment to health and wellness within our facilities and client organizations. The ideal candidate will provide expert nutritional guidance, develop and implement wellness programs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote health and well-being.

Pay: $80,000.00- $86,000.00/yr (http://0.0.0.0/yr)

401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. Key Responsibilities:

  • Nutritional Assessment and Counseling:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for individuals and groups.

  • Develop personalized nutrition plans based on individual health goals, dietary needs, and medical history.

  • Provide ongoing counseling and support to help clients achieve and maintain optimal health.

Wellness Program Development and Implementation:

  • Design and implement wellness programs focused on nutrition education, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes.

  • Collaborate with clients, employees, and stakeholders to promote wellness initiatives and foster a culture of health.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, fitness professionals, and human resources.

  • Communicate nutritional recommendations and wellness strategies effectively to clients and stakeholders.

  • Provide training and educational sessions on nutrition-related topics to staff and clients as needed.

Research and Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and guidelines in nutrition and dietetics.

  • Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of nutritional assessments, counseling sessions, and program outcomes.

  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing program results, client progress, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.

  • Current license as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical or community nutrition settings.

  • Strong knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and meal planning.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and nutrition software.
