We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to  perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.

This position will travel to our 7 sites in the state as a floating pharmacist, you will work a guaranteed 24 hours week with mileage included (.65/mile). Our sites are in Davenport, Marshalltown, Mason City, Sioux City, and Fort Dodge.

Normal pharmacy hours are 8:00-5:00, Monday - Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners

• Provides information to customers about medications and their use

• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service

• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy

• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy

• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

• Bacherlor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

• Current pharmacist license in state of Iowa

• Driver's License and Car Insurance

• Willing or ability to travel the state of Iowa

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license in state of Wisconsin

• Retail experience

• Long Term Care/Assisted Living experience
