Genesis Health System Coord, Ryan White Grant in Davenport, Iowa
Position Title: Coord, Ryan White Grant
Department: SS-Virology
Purpose: With a high degree of accuracy and patient satisfaction, aids in patients/guardians/guarantors in resolving patient bill accounts utilizing the Ryan White C Federal Grant Funds (RWC). Reviews accounts for billing and payment accuracy and refers accounts to providers for review. Works with claim specialists and clinic staff to resolve any barriers that may be hindering account resolution and payment by The RWC grant. Screens, enrolls and tracks patient data for all Ryan White eligible patients. Prepares quarterly and annual reports for the RWC program. Supports HIV clinical coordinator and clinic manager with the grant work plan and quality management plan to ensure program goals are met. Supports the clinic manager in ensuring operations for Ryan White are compliant with HRSA guidelines and regulations. Works with community partners to ensure Ryan White patient needs are being met.

Materials Responsibility: Limited: Work requires limited responsibility for material resources. POSITION SPECIFICATION
Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Field Of Study: Allied Health, or related field
Special Training: Basic Life Support; Customer Service Experience; Knowledge of Excel, Word, Publisher: knowledge of CPT Codes/Insurance billing
Training Preferred: Experience working with individuals affected by HIV/STI/AIDS; Knowledge of Diffusion of Effective Behaviors Interventions (DEBI)
Licensure/Registration:
Experience: More than 1 year experience required.
Interpersonal Skills: Interaction is with a variety of people inside or outside the organization. Communications are of moderate difficulty and sensitivity. Contact with others may involve detailed & lengthy dialogues & exchanges of information. Requires a moderate amount of interpersonal skills. Interactions involve dealing with moderately complicated problem situations or stressful encounters.
