Description:

Lab Tech 2 Role:

-Use a variety of lab equipment to process standard and non-standard products using thermal cyclers and liquid handling machines

-Performs a variety of PCR protocols and post PCR cleanup steps

-Demonstrates aseptic and sterile techniques to minimize the risk of contamination of products

-Efficiently multitasks while running multiple processes

-Ensures accurate product records

-Use customer software in windows based environment

-Quantifies and samples products for quality control tests

-Troubleshoots product, process, or equipment problems

-Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment

Shift: M-Th 8pm-6am

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Biology or other related scientific field required

OR

• Associates degree in science plus 2 years of PCR experience
