We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to perform HPLC testing, prepare process and finished product samples, and conduct analytical testing. This role involves recording results into software programs, organizing and preparing samples, and maintaining a clean and functional lab environment. The technician will also perform light maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment and ensure all systems operate accurately by comparing equipment readouts with standard samples.
Responsibilities
Perform HPLC testing.
Prepare process and finished product samples.
Conduct analytical testing.
Record results into software programs.
Organize and prepare samples.
Clean testing equipment and lab area.
Perform light maintenance and calibration on all laboratory equipment.
Organize, clean, and schedule orders for lab equipment.
Ensure all systems operate accurately by comparing equipment readouts with standard samples.
Essential Skills
Experience with pH testing.
Knowledge of GMP.
Proficiency with titration.
Experience with HPLC and GC.
Quality control and assurance skills.
Chemistry knowledge.
Lab testing and equipment handling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate of Science or Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry or related field preferred.
1-2 years of relevant lab-based experience.
Ability to multi-task and conduct various tests.
Familiarity with moisture testing and pH testing.
Work Environment
This is a full-time lab-based role, with some positions focused on a 16-month ethanol project involving sample collection and testing. The job requires rotating shifts alternating between days and nights, with 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM, following a 3-2-2-3 schedule. Initial training will be on a floating schedule. The position has the potential to become a long-term contract.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
