UnityPoint Health Urgent Care - Physician Assistant or NP - Cedar Rapids, IA in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for an experienced NP or PA to join our Westside Urgent Care team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Urgent Care Clinics are open 8am-8pm Monday – Friday; 8am-3pm Saturday and Sunday
1.0 FTE (full-time benefits)
Schedule is shift based; 14-15 shifts per month
Rotating weekend shifts
Position may support other Cedar Rapids regional Urgent Care and Express Care clinics; Marion, Peck’s Landing, and Lindale Express
No call requirements
Work with experienced staff
No appointments necessary; Option for patient’s to “reserve your spot” online
Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injuries
Excellent assessment skills
Work in a fast-paced environment
Provide high quality care to all ages
Offers select diagnostic tests and lab tests
Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow up care, and educate patients
Prefer: Urgent care or ER experience, as an advanced practitioner
Hold a current and unrestricted license or certification, as applicable, in the Advanced Practitioner's field of practice in the state(s) in which Advanced Practitioner provides services
Eligible to work in the United States
Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioner's field of practice
Ability to work as a team member
