Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing:• Supervises nursing team members whom provide direct resident care• Communicates with all health care providers and partners• Coordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by the physician and agreed to by the resident• Documents resident status / care / services in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner• Responsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate/care center policies and procedures• Follows the plan of care and ensures the overall health and well-being of each resident

Qualifications:

• Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license• Experience in skilled nursing / long term care (LTC) preferred• Knowledge and understanding of federal and state nursing facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and Public Safety• If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a charge / supervisory capacity• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language

DOE; LPN Starting Wage - $27.00/hour-$35.50/hour DOE and shift • Shift Differential Incentive for 2nd shift - $2/hr. additional if you're working during the weekdays; $4/hr. additional if working during the weekends! • Negotiable Wage (based on experience) • Weekend Package Option with additional $3/hr.
