Lab Technician is responsible for performing soil processing and measurements. Pipette and transfer soil samples Operate Industrial-level equipment designed for blending soil and water Perform soil analysis techniques including (but not limited to) extractions and pH measurements Data entry of soil and/or measurement information Maintain and clean various equipment, work areas and work stations Strict adherence and compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Strict adherence and compliance with laboratory safety requirements Homogenize and subsample soil Perform daily and weekly maintenance on equipment to prevent major failures, as needed Perform other related duties as assigned
